Chapter Advisor, Bro. Curtis Horton

Welcome to the 337th House of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, the Zeta Zeta Chapter. I am Brother Curtis Horton and I am the graduate advisor for this chapter. I also serve as the Chief Dean of the District of Oklahoma and I am a life member of our fraternity. I am an alumnus of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. I became a member of this great fraternity and Zeta Zeta Chapter Fall 2003.

Alpha Phi Alpha develops LEADERS, promotes BROTHERHOOD and ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, while providing SERVICE and ADVOCACY for our communities. This chapter strives on our mission statement. Academics and leadership development is a cornerstone for this chapter. Great leaders come from Alpha and it starts at the college level.

This is the school for the better making of men. A few things as an advisor that I focus on are scholarship, professionalism, and being better men for our society. Often society tends to teach us that we are made only one way, well I challenge this chapter to be different and make a difference, not only in themselves but in our community. To get somewhere in this world, we have to do something we never have done before, whatever that challenge might be, it is solved by being different!

It’s a great honor for me to help these young brothers meet their full potential, as college days swiftly pass. As brothers leave this chapter, I hope they have had an everlasting memory of being a college brother, while moving towards being an even better graduate brother.

Zeta Zeta has great things going on throughout the school year and I hope to see many of our community members at events. Thanks for stopping by our page, where great men shake hands and exchange greetings.

With Great Respect,

Curtis Horton
